Police are investigating after two high school classmates were filmed violently fighting inside a Hungry Jack’s restaurant in Adelaide’s south.
The girls were filmed by witnesses as they brawled inside the outlet in Seaford around 5pm on Friday.
The girls are believed to be students at the nearby Seaford Secondary College and witnesses said the fight was sparked when one girl threw a drink at the other.
Police were called to the restaurant but no arrests were made.
South Australia’s Department of Education and Child Development told 9NEWS the incident would be handled by the school.
“The matter is being dealt with in accordance with the school’s discipline policy,” a statement from the department read.
“Counsellors are working with the students and their families and we are confident the matter will be properly resolved.”
Police told 9NEWS that while no formal reports have been made, they do have a person of interest they wish to speak with further.
