The search for a 61-year-old man missing off the coast of WA near Bunbury will resume at first light, after an air and sea search failed to find any trace of the experienced fisherman.

Jeffrey Doyle, from Binningup, failed to return home from a fishing trip on Tuesday.
He left from the Bunbury Yacht Club on Monday in a 8.6m cabin cruiser named “Obsession II” with the registration number EP937.

Police said the search area has focused between Cape Naturalist and Mandurah, and includes three volunteer marine rescue group vessels, a search helicopter and search planes.
“Mr Doyle is known to carry all appropriate safety equipment,” WA police said in a statement.
“However at this time there has been no flare sightings or any EPIRD detections in the area.”
