A Malaysian national is being questioned over the alleged theft of $1 million from a South Melbourne bank.
Police allege a man walked into the bank in August with a fake Chinese passport and arranged to transfer and withdraw $1 million.
A 22-year-old Malaysian man was arrested this morning after two search warrants were executed in the Melbourne CBD, police said.
The man is being questioned by police however no charges have been laid.
