A computer generated image of a man has been released in relation to the drive-by shooting on sport scientist Stephen Dank’s Melbourne home.
The 52-year-old's forehead was grazed by a bullet when his Ascot Vale house was peppered with shots on July 23.
The alleged offender has been described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged 25 to 30 years with short dark hair and a moustache.
Investigators yesterday released CCTV footage and images of a stolen grey 2005 BMW wagon believed to be linked to the incident.
The vehicle, with registration plates TOE 769, had been stolen from a Cranebourne home and was found burnt out in Mount Evelyn a day after the shooting.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
