A teenager has been charged with murder, following the fatal shooting of a man on the Gold Coast.
The 18-year-old presented at Southport Police Station late on Friday afternoon and was overnight formally charged.
He’s expected to appear in Southport Magistrates court today.
Officers had been looking the Nergang man and a 31-year-old woman in relation to the death of Jason Boyd, an alleged Nomads bikies associate, on Friday morning.
The 31-year-old woman believed to have been travelling with the teen and also wanted in relation to the shooting, remains at large.
Police released mugshots of both the young man and heavily-tattooed female early on Friday afternoon as well as a picture of a white Holden sedan they may have been travelling in.
The woman is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 172cm tall with a proportionate build, blue eyes and a tattoo on her neck.
Anyone who sees her are urged not to approach her and call Triple Zero.
