Four people are assisting police after a man's was found dead in a Perth driveway, the apparent victim of a bashing by a friend.
Police say the body of the man, aged in his 30s, was found outside a home on Fitzgerald Drive in Morley this morning.
Major Crime Squad detectives are investigating and the man's death is being treated as suspicious.
Neighbours said the couple who live at the home were heard arguing late last night, before a fight broke out between two men.
"He was saying, 'you're my best mate, why are you doing this?'," a neighbour who wished only to be referred to as Daniel said.
"And he said, 'you're gonna learn a lesson tonight, you never bash females'."
Daniel said it appeared the deceased man's girlfriend had attempted to revive him with CPR.
No charges have been laid.
