An emergency bushfire warning has been issued for the town of Hawker, in South Australia's Flinders Ranges.
The Country Fire Service has advised a serious bushfire is burning out-of-control north of Hawker near Yappala Road and the Outback Highway.
The CFS said the fire is burning in a south-easterly direction towards Hawker.
"Act now. Only leave if the path is clear to a safer place," the CFS said in its warning.
"If you can't leave, take shelter in a solid building and actively defend it."
