A 15-year-old girl has been charged with stabbing a middle-aged Queensland couple in their bed on Boxing Day.
She allegedly attacked the pair, aged 46 and 44, believed to be her relatives, in their bedroom at the Rockhampton home at 1am.
The woman is fighting for her life at Rockhampton Base Hospital after suffering critical injuries.
Her partner was stabbed in his chest and leg and is in a stable condition in the same hospital.
The teenage girl has been charged with grievous bodily harm and unlawful wounding in relation to the attack at the Bank Street address.
