William Christopher, best known for his role as Father Mulcahy on the iconic television series M*A*S*H, has died aged 84.
Christopher died on Saturday morning (local time) at his home in Pasedena, California, ABC 7 reported.
His son, John Christopher, confirmed the actor died from non-lung small cell carcinoma.
M*A*S*H was one of the highest-rating series in US television history.
The actor also appeared in Murder, She Wrote and Hogan’s Heroes.
