Police have charged a man with attempted murder following an alleged stabbing attack in the south-east Queensland town of Warwick.
Investigators believe the stabbing happened after two men known to each other began arguing outside a Tooth Street home about 5pm yesterday.
During the dispute, a 28-year-old man allegedly repeatedly stabbed a 32-year-old man in the stomach and chest, police said.
The injured man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital and is in a stable condition.
The 28-year-old was arrested by police and has since been charged with attempted murder.
He is expected to appear at the Warwick Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
