The Washington Post Express has had to apologise after accidently printing the male symbol on its women’s celebratory cover.
The daily addendum of the illustrious publication made the public gaffe with a cover story about a 150,000 strong women's right march.
Instead of thousands of women forming the female symbol, the cover instead depicted the male symbol.
The publication apologised for the mistake and posted a photo on Twitter showing what the cover should have looked like.
"We made a mistake on our cover this morning and we're very embarrassed," the Washington Post Express said in a statement.
"We erroneously used a male symbol instead of a female symbol."
Social media were quick to chastise the publication for the bungle.
