A car has been filmed crashing through a shopping centre during a ram raid in Melbourne’s north-east this morning.
CCTV released by Victoria Police shows the silver car outside Westfield Plenty Valley on Mcdonalds Road, South Morang, about 4am.
The vehicle is then reversed into the front doors and crashes through the windows of a hairdressing store.
Once inside, the car is driven through the centre aisle of the complex, before stopping and ramming what appears to be a Lotto outlet.
The offenders left the centre empty handed, police said.
It is believed three people were in the vehicle at the time of the ram raid.
Investigations are ongoing.
