Lives and homes are being threatened by an out of control and unpredictable bushfire in WA's South West region.
The blaze started in Gwindinup and is burning towards Argyle and Donnybrook.
Authorities have issued an emergency warning, saying just after 5pm that homes on Hetherington Road were under threat by fire.
A temporary evacuation centre has been set up at Donnybrook Recreation Centre.
A bushfire was also burning in Julimar State Forest northeast of Perth on Thursday, prompting a watch and act alert.
A 41-year-old man is being questioned by police over that blaze.
