Drivers have been urged to proceed with caution as a large bushfire continues to burn near the Bruce Highway on the Sunshine Coast.
The fire broke out about 2.30pm near the Bruce Highway and Roys Road and is causing significant smoke, QFES said.
The highway is now closed to all traffic, according to an 8pm update from Queensland Traffic
Diversions are also in place through Steve Irwin Way.

Motorists have been urged to drive with caution and expect delays.
There is no threat to property, QFES added.
