A person has burnt to death after their car caught on fire during a crash on the NSW south coast.
Police say initial investigations suggest several cars were involved in the collision on Five Islands Road, Unanderra, this afternoon before one of them caught fire.
Officers are still working to identify the person inside the burnt car and a crime scene has been established.
The road has been closed in both directions and motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
