A Sydney woman has been arrested after she allegedly shoplifted while posing as a security officer at a Sydney warehouse sale for women’s fashion brand, Camilla.
The 43-year-old claimed to be conducting covert loss prevention duties at the sale on Oxford Street yesterday, police said.
She was allegedly caught filling a bag with clothes.
Images showed the woman being escorted by police from the scene wearing one of the label’s signature kaftans.
The woman was allegedly arrested with 17 items, and has since been charged with shoplifting and carrying on security activity without a licence.
She has been bailed to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on March 23.
