A male pilot has died after a single-engine plane crashed at Oakdale, a semi-rural suburb in Sydney’s south-west.
The two-seater Drifter plane crashed near Barkers Lodge Road, Oakdale, about 4.20pm, according to The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB).
Emergency services were called to the scene, about six kilometres from The Oaks Airfield.
It is not yet known what caused the accident.
