Superstar Adele has kissed the hand of an emotional fan during her sold-out Sydney concert.

Samira Dandachl said she “couldn’t believe her luck” when she was singled out by the British singer as she performing to nearly 100,000 people at ANZ Stadium last night.

“Adele had just finished singing ‘When We Were Young’ when my fiance, Adi, lifted me up on his shoulders,” Ms Dandachl told 9news.com.au.

“I was crying, and she said ‘don’t cry darling’ and I kissed her hand.

“She returned the favour and kissed my hand back.”

Friends captured the moment on Snapchat, with Ms Dandachl’s phone close to running out of battery.

A “massive fan” of the UK songstress, the 26-year-old said she had arrived early in the day to secure a front-row spot in the exclusive standing area.

Tickets for the VIP Golden Circle sold for $750 each, offering the “best views” of the stage - but no guarantees of actually meeting Adele.

“I could not believe it. It is the best moment of my life and something I’ll never forget.”

Adele has received rave reviews for her stadium concert tour, which will next play at Adelaide Oval tomorrow night.
