Brock Turner, the former Stanford University swimmer who sexually assaulted an unconscious woman, has officially registered as a sex offender following his release from prison.

Registering as a sex offender is one of the requirements of the 21-year-old’s sentence.

Turner’s registration, filed near his family home in Ohio, is now publicly available on the Ohio Attorney General’s online sex offender registry.

The listing provides details of Turner’s conviction and includes a recent  photo.

Turner didn’t list a job or school under the ‘Other Known Addresses’ section of the form, but will have to update the information if he is employed or enrols in school.

As part of being on the registered sex offenders’ list, Turner’s neighbours will receive letters notifying them of his name and address.

He was found guilty of sexually assaulting an unconscious 22-year-old woman behind a dumpster at a fraternity house in January 2015.

He only served three months of his six-month sentence after being released early for good behaviour.

The judge assigned to the case, Judge Aaron Persky, provoked a storm of outrage in June for the light sentence.

Judge Persky, who had also been a student at Stanford, now faces a recall campaign and has removed himself from hearing criminal cases.
