A man has died in a unit fire at an apartment building in Preston, in Melbourne’s north.
Emergency services were called to the blaze at the Tyler Street complex just before 3pm.
Firefighters controlled the fire within 22 minutes, but were hampered by live power problems, Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) said.
The man's body was located after a search of the unit.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
