The NRL has been rocked by another drug scandal this week, with allegations Kiwi test players Jesse Bromwich and Kevin Proctor were allegedly caught on CCTV in possession of cocaine in Canberra overnight.

The players allegedly joined Canberra man Adrian Mark Crowther outside Cube nightclub in Canberra’s CBD, with CCTV footage reportedly showing Crowther preparing a white substance on his phone before handing it to the two men.

The pair were in Canberra to play the Anzac Test at Bruce Stadium against the Kangaroos.

Their clubs have each released statements following the allegations.

“The Aquis Gold Coast Titans have this morning been made aware of an alleged incident involving co-captain Kevin Proctor last night in Canberra whilst representing New Zealand,” Proctor’s club said in a statement.

“Investigations into the alleged incident are on-going and the club will not be making any comment until more information becomes available.”

Meanwhile, New Zealand Rugby League said they had been "made aware of an alleged incident".

"New Zealand Rugby League have this morning been made aware of an alleged incident involving Kiwis Captain Jesse Bromwich and teammate Kevin Proctor last night in Canbeerra following the Anzac Test," the statement said.

"If the allegations are proven to be true New Zealand Rugby League will be taking action immediately."

The NRL Integrity Unit has been notified through the New Zealand Rugby League officials.

It comes after Cronulla Sharks chairman Damian Keogh today stood down over allegations of drug possession.

Roosters star Shaun Kenny-Dowall was on Thursday arrested for cocaine possession at a Sydney nightclub.

Crowther appeared before a Canberra court today but was released on bail.

He will appear in court again later this month.
