A man is fighting for life and two women are seriously injured after an alleged triple stabbing at Doveton in Melbou this morning.
CCTV footage shows the suspect allegedly stalking one of his three victims. She is seen walking backwards along a street as a man walks towards her.
A 25-year-old man is in hospital in a critical condition, and two woman, aged 44 and 21, were also taken to hospital with serious injuries after the alleged attack about 6.30am.
It's believed one of the women tried to flee, running up the road to a neighbour's house while the alleged offender followed.
The neighbour heard the woman's screams and discovered her bleeding on his doorstep.
It is believed the neighbour then dragged the woman inside his house and barricaded himself inside with his wife and six young children just before the alleged offender arrived.
The alleged offender later threatened self-harm outside before police tasered and arrested him.

All four people are believed to be known to each other but the exact circumstances are yet to be determined by police.
