A man has multiple injuries after a high-speed boating accident on the Hawkesbury River in Sydney’s north-west.
Emergency services were called to the banks of the river near Pitt Town about 2pm.
The 52-year-old man suffered a number of injuries, including fractures to the lower limbs, NSW Ambulance said.
He was treated at the scene and was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the accident not yet known.
