Protesters have rushed the stage and reportedly attempted to tackle Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte after his performance on the US version of Dancing With the Stars.
In a live episode aired today, the embattled Olympian was receiving feedback on his foxtrot from judge Carrie Ann Inaba when chaos broke out off-camera.
Mid-way into her critique, Inaba began to shout, “Excuse me! Excuse me! Back off!”.
Security personnel were also seen rushing past the cameras.

Host Tom Bergeron told the audience to “take a deep breath”, before throwing to an unscheduled commercial break.
"We had to go to break because we had a little incident," Bergeron said.
"I'd like to personally thank our security team for staying in shape."
Video filmed by an Instagram user of the aftermath of the incident showed a security team apprehending two men on the floor of the stage.
A group of five women, all wearing tops emblazoned with anti-Lochte symbols, chanted “liar!” as several other audience members shouted at them to “go away”.

Noticeably shaken after the incident, Lochte said he was “doing good” but was “hurt”.
"I'm doing good. So many feelings are going through my head right now. A little hurt. I came out here and I wanted to do something I was completely uncomfortable with, and I did," Lochte said.

Lochte recently received a 10-month suspension from Team USA for falsely claiming he and his teammates were robbed at gunpoint at the Rio Olympic Games.
