A car has been struck by a train at a level crossing in Melbourne.
It is believed the vehicle was crushed by the train when it was hit at Surrey Hills station, in Melbourne's east, at around 4pm.
It is not yet known if anyone has been injured.
Emergency services are trying to reach the wreckage of the car under the train.
Services have been suspended on the Belgrave and Lilydale lines between Camberwell and Box Hill.
Buses will replace trains on the affected services.
