A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he crashed his car into a shop in Labrador, on the Gold Coast.
Emergency services were called to a business on Babbidge Street just after 1pm, following reports a man had driven his car into the shopfront.
He suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The crash has caused significant damage to the building and a power pole has been brought down, Queensland Police said.
Babbidge Street has been closed in both directions and delays are expected.
Investigations into the cause of the smash are ongoing.
