Two people have been taken to hospital following an explosion in a store on a major intersection in Budapest, Hungary’s disaster management agency has confirmed.
The explosion reportedly took place on the ground floor of a store at the busy Oktogon intersection around 7.40am (AEST).
Two people were taken to hospital with injuries and people in nearby businesses were quickly evacuated.
Video posted to social media show a large police presence at the scene.
