A primary school aged boy has suffered serious injuries after been hit by a car in Brookfield, in Melbourne’s outer western suburbs.
Police say the boy was struck by the car around 3.35pm on Black Dog Drive, Brookfield.
He sustained head, facial and abdominal injuries and has been flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition, Ambulance Victoria said.
Police have spoken to the driver and are not expected to lay charges, The Age reported.
