A Sydney sports coach has been charged with the indecent assault of a female student in the city’s south-west.
The 76-year-old man was arrested at Bankstown police station this morning following an investigation into reports he had allegedly indecently assaulted the student a number of times during coaching sessions when she was aged between 16 and 17.
He has been charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault and common assault.
The man has been granted strict conditional bail and is expected to reappear in court next month.
